CABLE
A cable is a material used to conduct electricity from one place to another. Cables consist of conductive materials that are capable of conducting electric current from a power source to various devices and components.
LAN Cable
LAN cable stands for Local Area Network or local computer network. LAN cable is used to connect a computer/laptop to an internet network device or to other network devices themselves.
LAN Cable Function
Not only connecting a computer to the internet network, it turns out that LAN cables have a number of other functions. Here are the functions of LAN cables:
1. Connecting a Computer to a Router
The first function of a LAN cable is to connect a computer to a router. Actually, both computers and laptops can be connected to a router wirelessly, namely using WiFi technology.
However, there is one advantage that detikers get if you connect a computer to a router with a LAN cable, namely that the internet speed becomes more stable. Unfortunately, detikers can't move anywhere because the LAN cable must be plugged into the computer.
2. As a Connector Between Computers
Another function of a LAN cable is to connect one computer device to another computer in a certain area. So, detikers can easily and quickly share data with other computers connected to a LAN cable.
Straight cable
Straight cables have 2 standards in the order there are
* TIA/EIA-568A
* TIA/EIA-568B
The most commonly used standard is the TIA/EIA-568B standard. Straight cables have an arrangement of ends that must be exactly the same between one end and the other.

Step to make
1. Peel the end of the UTP cable with a crimping pliers cutter
2. Once open, open the cable thread
3. Next, arrange the cables according to the order above
4. Then cut the cable using crimping pliers, make sure the cable is cut evenly so that it can enter the RJ 45 connector
5. Insert the cut cable into the RJ 45 connector
6. Then crimp and press until all the pins (brass) on the RJ-45 connector have bitten each cable.
Crossover cable
The type of LAN cross over cable has different arrangement rules between each end of the connector. The cross over type is usually used to connect two identical devices. LAN cross over cables are usually used to connect computers to computers, routers to routers, switches to switches, and hubs to hubs.
UTP cables are known to have 2 types of configurations, namely T-568B and T-568A. In a cross cable, the end of cable 1 follows the T-568B type and the end of cable 2 corresponds to T-568A.

HOW TO USE
1. Disconnect all wireless networks that may be connected.
2. Make sure both devices are in the same Work-Group.
3. Enable Network Sharing.
4. Connect one end of the cross cable to the first device.
5. Connect the other end to the second device.
Turn on both devices.
